Nigeria’s D’Tigers beat Benin Rep. in AFROCAN qualifiers
Nigeria’s D’Tigers defeated Benin Republic counterparts to get their African qualification campaign back on track.
Having lost 65-62 to Guinea on Friday, the team endured another slow start against Benin Republic but dug deep to win 78-51 this Saturday.
The first quarter went to Benin Republic 15-10, but it later became all D’Tigers affair from the second quarter.

Nigeria won the second set 12-32, and 11-19 in the third quarter before wrapping up the game with 17-13 in the final set.
D’Tigers will face hosts Ivory Coast in the next game.
