Nike Jersey will make opponents run after Eagles – Oliseh

Former Nigerian Manager, Sunday Oliseh has said the uniqueness of the Super Eagles Nike jerseys will  make opponents like to exchange jerseys with the team during the FIFA World Cup which starts on Thursday.

According to the former national team captain, the kit will inspire the Eagles to outshine Croatia, Iceland, and Argentina in the group stage and possibly go beyond expectations in the tournament.

“The Super Eagles latest jersey and outfits are not only “unique” but “inspiring”, the 43 year old Ex-Nigeria international, wrote on his Twitter handle @SundayOOliseh.”

“Opponents will run after Eagles for these jerseys,” he added. The Eagles World Cup shirt was sold out in less than 30 minutes on the day it was officially released in London.

Nike secured the merchandise for the Nigeria’s kits after Adidas ended their contract with the Nigeria Football Federation in 2014. Before that, Nike supplied Nigeria’s kit between 1998 and 2003.
