No Deal! Osimhen snubs Napoli’s new contract offer

Victor Osimhen could be on his way out of Napoli after failing to reach an agreement over a new contract.

Osimhen’s representative Roberto Calenda and Napoli’s President, Aurelio De Laurentiis on Friday met to discuss the player’s future, and to sort out details of his new contract.

But, according to Sky Italia, both parties failed to find an agreement, albeit another meeting has been scheduled, which could be the last.

Osimhen has two years on his current deal, and Napoli wants to tie him to a longer deal, and keep him potentially, for another season or raise his market value even further.

Meanwhile, the 24 year-old forward, it is reported, is also keen to sign the extension, but with a pay rise to put him among the top earners in Italy.

Osimhen has been linked with a host of big European teams including Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris
Saint-Germain.

However, Napoli are yet to receive a concrete offer for their Talisman, who scored 26 goals in the Serie A last season in their title run.
