NPFL: Football Fans Hammer Katsina Utd Over Handwritten Jersey Number

Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United have been called out by fans over the disgraceful jersey one of their players wore against Sporting Lagos in Match Day 11 of the NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A picture emerged of a Katsina United player, Ibrahim wearing a jersey with the name and number handwritten and not printed during the game.

The viral picture stirred a lot of reactions from football lovers on the X social media app, who were not happy with the poor showing by the NPFL side while some fans likened it to the disgraceful act by Enyimba Int’l in the African Football League.

A Clement Naantaum goal was enough to return Sporting Lagos to winning ways at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, as they were winless in their last three games.
