NPFL: Ilechukwu, Ezeagu get ‘Boolu Ogbe’ recognition

Technical Adviser of Rangers International F.C, Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, and former Team Manager of the Coal City side, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, who recently returned to the country after successfully completing his FIFA Masters Course in club Management, were feted by organizers of Enugu-based grassroots football tournament, ‘Boolu Ogbe’, Coal City Football League.

At a well-attended function that brought together the crème-de-la-crème in the football industry saw the organizers present awards to the duo for outstanding successes in the round leather game on the technical and managerial levels.

Coach Ilechukwu, after receiving the award of recognition thanked the organizers and called on all in the Coal City to join hands to see to the success of Rangers in the coming season stressing that with the assemblage of a large number of international footballers in the city, there was every reason for big celebrations to be held at the end of every season.

Barrister Ezeaku on his part praised the efforts of the organizers in pulling out the big wigs to grace the function which also served as the official draw for the 4th edition of the tournament stressing, “I am indeed very glad to be here to witness the great event and I thank you for the award of recognition given me. This award will spur me to do more for the game as I dedicate it to all lovers of the beautiful game around the world.”

The event had the football living legend and former captain and manager of the Super Eagles of Nigeria; Chairman Christian Chukwu (Mfr), Olympics gold medalist; Kingsley Obiekwu, FIFA World Cup 2014 stars; Ejike Uzoenyi and Okechukwu Uchebo, CAF Champions League winning coach; Okey Emordi, Enugu and Anambra States Football Associations chairmen; Barrister Tony Ugwu and Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi (General), Rangers International F.C’ Administrative Secretary; Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua, and many other captains of industries and religious leaders in attendance.
