NPFL: Maikaba Feels Satisfied With Kano Pillars Readiness

Kano Pillars head coach, Abdul Maikaba has said that he was satisfied with the preparation of his team, ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Sai Masu Gida defeated Katsina United 2-1, in their recent pre-season friendly on Sunday, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

The former Rangers Int’l gaffer said the players performed to the standard that is required in the NPFL.

“The game was difficult for the players because of the standard of the opposition,” Maikaba said.

“They managed the pressure well and also were able to win at the end of the day.”

“I’m delighted with the performance as it’s the standard required in the NPFL,” he concludes.

Kano Pillars will kick off their campaign for the 2023/24 NPFL season with an away game against Sunshine Stars, with the date yet to be confirmed.
