NPFL: Rangers get new club ambassador

Management of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Rangers International F.C in its bid to further raise the bars of acceptance of the team and take ownership to the people, Tuesday, appointed a new club ambassador.

At a very brief ceremony at the club’s newly renovated corporate office, G.R.A, Enugu, the G.M/CEO of Rangers, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, bestowed the club’ ambassadorial status on Martins Ndubueze Nebo.

Highly respected social media influencer, media O.A.P, politician, and comedian, Martins Ndubueze Nebo popularly known as ‘MC for God’ is the first of many ambassadors lined up for the club by management.

Ezeaku, said in his brief speech, “Management desires to take Rangers back to the people and it starts by appointing those who are role models to many in the society. The club believes that by being our ambassador, you will help sell the brand to millions of your followers as we work together to take Rangers to the highest level of club football both within and outside the country.”

In his reaction, the new ambassador, Martins Nebo said, “It is beyond feeling for me at this point of being appointed an ambassador of Rangers. I am so happy as I never thought that there would be a time in Enugu state that we will be having this kind of leadership that connects to the people. This goes a long way to show that truly, things can get better. Leadership is about connecting to the people. So, I am a connect, everybody on the street is a connect and Rangers is the connect. I hope to be a good ambassador of the greatest football club in the world.”

A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the club’s replica jerseys to the new club ambassador by the CEO assisted by the administrative secretary, Barr. Ferdinand Ugwuarua, and other top management staff of the club were present.
