Okonjo-Iweala drums support for Super Eagles ahead Bafana clash
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, World Trade Organization, WTO, Director General, is drumming support for Nigeria’s Super Eagles as they prepare to tackle South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the semi-final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
Okonjo-Iweala, in a tweet via her X account, urged the Jose Peseiro’s tutored-side to get the job done against South Africa and progress to AFCON finals.

She, however, wished three-time African champions the best of luck against their opponent.
“Wishing our very own Super Eagles the best of luck tomorrow!! Let’s get it done,” Okonjo-Iweala penned.
Nigeria’s Super Eaglesdefeated Angola 1-0 in the quarter-final encounter, while South Africa’s Bafana Bafana claimed a 2-1 via penalty shootout against Cape Verde.
The Nigeria vs South Africa match kicks-off by 6:00pm.
