Olusesi leads Rangers’ quartet to Super Eagles Team B camp

Rangers International F.C’ skipper, Tope Olusesi who was outstanding in the international friendly encounter against Mexico in the U.S some weeks back is leading another quartet of players to the Super Eagles B team camp for a friendly encounter scheduled for Congo D.R.

Also invited from the Enugu landlords to the squad being handled by the duo of coaches Austin Eguavoen and Paul Aigbogun are Christian Nnaji, Ugochukwu Ugwuoke and Chinonso Eziekwe.

Before the players’ departure, Thursday, for Abuja where the team is camping, G.M/CEO of Rangers, Prince Davidson Owumi urged them to be good ambassadors while in the national camp stressing, “This is another opportunity presented to you and I urge you all to be good ambassadors of our club. Go there with your ‘Never say Die’ spirit and make names for yourselves. This surely is a gateway for better things to happen in your careers.”

Recall that the ‘Flying Antelopes’ also provided the Super Eagles B team that lost gallantly to Mexico with four players with Tope Olusesi and Tony Shimaga lasting the duration of the FIFA sanctioned international friendly fixture.

In another development, the seven time Nigeria league champions have kicked off its pre-season activities on Monday with the return of the nineteen retained players with the newly acquired ones (Eight in number) also joining the fold under the supervision of chief coach, Mbwas Mangut ably assisted by coach Benedict Ugwu and Tony Donwa.

Management is still working in tandem with the recruitment committee to get five more players into the team before the 2021/2022 football season commences.
