Nigeria Under 23 team will trade tackles with Nasarawa United today in the team’s final warm up before departing for the 2019 Africa Under 23 AFCON scheduled for Egypt from next week Friday.
The Olympic Eagles as they are fondly called couldn’t find a way past National League side, Niger Tornadoes whom they drew with yesterday in Abuja and they are expected to get their rhythm against the Solid Miners.
The Media Officer of the team, Shariff Abd’Allah told SportingLife that the players are raring to go knowing that the list of the players who will travel to Egypt will be made known immediately after then.
“We will play against Nasarawa United tomorrow (today) and it is our final friendly game before we get off to Egypt,” Abd’Allah told SportingLife.ng.

“The final 21 list of players that will represent Nigeria will also be made public after the game. We have some players on ground here while there are a few also who will be joining us from their base in Europe.”
