Omeruo, Idowu, Chukwueze Hit Eagles Camp on Tuesday

Kenneth Omeruo, Bryan Idowu and Samuel Chukwueze have been confirmed to hit the Super Eagles camp in Asaba on Tuesday ahead of this Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

Omeruo made the disclosue through a message he posted on his instagram page n Monday morning after bumping into Idowu and Chukwueze at the Frankfurt Airport. Both Omeruo and Chukwueze play in Spain with Leganes and Villarreal.

It will be Chukwueze’s first call-up to the Eagles camp and a perfect way to start after scoring his first LaLiga goal for Villarreal in their 2-2 away draw at Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night.

On the other handn, Omeruo was in action for on-loan club Leganes in their 0-0 draw with Girona on Saturday, while Idowu was not listed in Locomotiv Moscow’s 0-0 away draw against Rubin Kazan on Sunday in Russia top flight league.

The Eagles will hold their first training session ahead of crucial clash on Tuesday,” according to the team’s programme announced on Sunday.

Rohr has called up 23-players for the encounter scheduled for the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
