Omeruo teases Onyekuru: You’re my junior in marriage
Kenneth Omeruo has described his Super Eagles’ teammate Henry Onyekuru as his junior colleague after the Galatasaray winger got married in the ancient city of Benin yesterday.
Omeruo who was obviously in a teasing mood also made reference to the fact that he got married before Onyekuru by posting a short message on his Facebook account accompanied by the picture of the newly wedded couple.
“Congratulations my bro @c.henry21 you are officially a Junior colleague.. May God Bless your Home.” The Chelsea defender wrote on Facebook
SportingLife gathered that Onyekuru and Esty have been dating for several years and have a one-year-old son together.
It’s been a very busy summer for Onyekuru who moved into a new mansion in Lekki. He had an opening party for the new mansion just before he joined the Super Eagles ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON).
The forward played just one game as the Super Eagles went on to win the bronze medal at AFCON 2019.
As expected, some Eagles’ stars like John Ogu, Chidozie Awaziem, Kenneth Omeruo, Francis Uzoho and Samuel Kalu were part of the dignitaries that attended the event.
Others are Eagles assistant coach Imama Amapakabo as well as stars like Paul Onuachu, Oghenekaro Etebo and Victor Osimhen graced the wedding.
This past season, he won the league and cup double with Galatasaray in Turkey and also featured at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
