Omeruo Thanks Otedola For fulfilling $25, 000 pledge To Super Eagles
Kenneth Omeruo has extended his gratitude tp Nigeria oli tycoon, Femi Otedola on behalf of the Super Eagles for redeeming his AFCON 2019 semifinal match pledge.
On Tuesday, Omeruo was part of the delegation that were at Otedola’s office to receive the $25, 000 promised the team for each goal scored in their semifinal clash against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
“On behalf of the Super Eagles I want say thank you to @femiotedola for receiving us today redeeming your pledge,” Omeruo tweeted on his Twitter platform and also posted on his Instagram page.
Nigeria lost the match 2-1 with Odion Ighalo scoring the only goal for the team from the penalty spot.

The Eagles however finished the tournament with a bronze medal following a lone goal victory against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
