Onuachu undergoes Trabzonspor medical ahead of loan switch

Paul Onuachu will on Sunday have a medical at Turkish Super Lig club, Trabzonspor, ahead of his loan switch.

Trabzonspor fans trooped out to witness the Nigeria international’s arrival in Turkey on Saturday.

The 29-year-old linked up with Southampton from Genk in January but was unable to prevent the Saints’ relegation from the Premier League.

Onuachu has made just one appearance for Southampton this season.

The striker failed to register a goal in 12 appearances for the club last season.

Trabzonspor currently sit in seventh position in the Turkish Super Lig.
