Oshoala contributed 15 goals to Femeni 6th title win

 

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has every cause to celebrate after her over a dozen goals helped Barcelona ladies otherwise called the Femeni clinch their sixth Spainish women’s League Title.

The former Arsenal Lady who showcased his trade with Chinese league side Dalian Quanjian F.C before joining Barcelona in 2019 became an instant hit with the Spanish side scoring week in week out as the girls continued to soar higher.  Their effort paid off as they 6th title to their collection of laurels.

The four time African Women footballer of the year contributed in no small measure in the season achievement with 15 goals in 21 matches to her credit. Interestingly the club kept an impressive record of  26 wins in 26 league matches.

Barcelona Femeni were crowned champions after their 1-0 win against Granadilla Tenerife. The players apparently appreciative of the contributions of their coaches to the achievement made celebrated in style throwing some of the coaches into the swimming pool to mark a well-deserved victory and season long hard work.

Asisat has so far scored 33 goals in 32 appearances for Barcelona ladies since joining the fold in 2019.
