Osimhen intensifies in training, grateful to Napoli’s medical team
Victor Osimhen has expressed gratitude to Napoli’s medical team, led by surgeon Gianpaolo Tartaro.
Osimhen sustained a horrific facial injury while playing for Napoli against Inter Milan at San Siro on November 21.
The 22-year-old was involved in a clash of heads with Inter Milan’s defender Milan Skriniar and was substituted in the 52nd minute of the game.
Osimhen underwent surgery to correct the fractured cheekbone and eye socket. he returned to training on Wednesday, after spending three weeks on the sideline.
Osimhen who has scored nine goals in 14 appearances for Napoli this season, is glad to be back and paid tribute to everyone who supported him.
He also thanked Napoli’s doctor, Gianpaolo Tartaro, who was assisted by Dr Mario Santagata with Dr Raffaele Canonico.

Osimhen has scored nine goals in 14 appearances for Napoli this season, and his return is a massive boost for Luciano Spalleti’s men.
