Osimhen’s former agent drops bombshell concerning Napoli switch

Victor Osimhen’s former agent, Franco Lovino of Star Factory, has dismissed any form of wrongdoing during talks surrounding the player’s expected switch to Napoli.

According to reports, the 21-year-old Super Eagles forward was advised by his club Lille to change his agent after discussions between the French club and Napoli continued to drag on.

A position that forced that Osimhen to part ways with Franco Iovin, with reports claiming he was demanding for outrageous amount as commission which could possibly stall the transfer.

Reacting to the allegations, Iovino waved off such claims during an interview with Radio Punto Nuovo, according to Football Italia.

“It was not clear what happened. Perhaps something fishy went down, probably between the Presidents of Lille and Napoli.”

“The negotiations didn’t slow down because of Star Factory but because the player kept hesitating. William D’Avila is a home agent in Lille. The club will surely have advised Osimhen to leave us and go with him,” noted Iovino, who also hinted that Lille possibly promised the player more money should he accept to join Napoli.

“They will certainly have promised him money. Lille for some reason wanted to only sell to Napoli because there’s an excellent relationship between the Presidents.
