Pascal:  Super Eagles are going for victory against CAR

Super Eagles Team Coordinator Patrick Pascal has said that the players are in the right frame of mind to get victory in Sunday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier game against Les Fauves of Central African Republic in Douala.

Substitute Karl Namnganda snatched a late 90th minute winner to give the Wild Beasts a victory in the first leg game in Lagos on Thursday.

Pascal told SportingLife.ng that the players have put Thursday’s defeat behind them and focusing on getting the job done in the second leg tomorrow.

“What happened on Thursday was part of football. It has come and gone. We had full training session on Friday and everybody is fully focused on the game on Sunday. All attention is now on the game in Douala and all we are going for is total victory. If they can come here and beat us, we can also go there on Sunday and beat them. That’s football,”, he said
