Pogba ‘wants new Man Utd deal’ thanks to Bruno Fernandes

Paul Pogba is reportedly ready to perform a U-turn and stay at Manchester United – because he wants to link up with Bruno Fernandes.

Pogba was widely expected to leave Old Trafford before next season, having been continually linked with a move since last summer.

Real Madrid and Pogba’s former club Juventus have frequently been credited with an interest in the France midfielder, who admitted last summer it would be “a dream” to ply his trade at the Bernabeu under Zinedine Zidane.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has also helped fuel speculation, having criticised United over their handling of his client.

However, Pogba has been impressed by the impact Fernandes has had on United since his £47million arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January.
