PSG terminate ex-Real star’s contract
Paris Saint-Germain have terminated the contract of former Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez, despite the Spaniard having six months to spare on his deal.
On Saturday evening, reigning Ligue 1 champions PSG announced that the club had reached an agreement with Rodriguez for the early termination of the player’s contract at the Parc de Princes.
“Paris Saint-Germain and Jese have agreed to terminate the player’s contract, due to expire on 30 June 2021,” the club announced on its website. “….Paris Saint-Germain wishes Jese all the best for his professional career.”
Rodriguez’s departure marks the end of a much-maligned spell for the Spanish forward in Paris, having made just 18 appearances across all competitions during his four seasons with the club.
