Pyramids request hosting CAF Confederation Cup final
Pyramids FC have officially requested hosting the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup final.
After coming close in the last two editions, Pyramids are aiming to claim their first-ever Confederation Cup title this year.
The Blues couldn’t have had a better start to their journey, having collected nine points from three group stage games.

If the Egyptian representatives successfully make it to the final, they might have the chance to play at home as they officially requested hosting the tournament’s finale. The request was announced through the club’s official Twitter account.
“Pyramids Chief Executive Officer Mamdouh Eid announced that the club made an official request to CAF in order to host the Confederation Cup final at the 30 June Stadium,” Statement said.
The statement also confirmed that Pyramids have already contacted the Minister of Youth and Sports and he gave them full support.
The Confederation Cup final is scheduled to take place in May, with the specific day being undecided yet.
