‘Rangers are developing gradually, says Yusuf
Coach Salisu Yusuf believes Rangers International are gradually building up to the yearning standard of their teeming fans.
According to him, there’s no course for fear as the team would soon overcome their scoring problem in the Nigeria Professional League.
Rangers fired blank in their 2020-2021 NPFL opener against Rivers United and needed Israel Abia’s late goal against Akwa United on Sunday, to avoid another drought.
The team has been heavily criticised for over-reliance on Israel Abia to deliver the goals, and many believe it could be a major problem for the Flying Antelopes when the title race intensifies.

Speaking to the club’s media Coach Salisu dispelled such concerns and stressed that the goals will arrive as the team continues to progress.
“We are not struggling to score goals. We have played two games, scored one goal but it’s not yet time to know whether the team cannot score. What we’re doing is that the team is developing per game in all departments.” he said
Meanwhile Rangers will travel to Kaduna for the week three fixture with Jigawa Golden Stars F.C.
The match is scheduled to hold inside the main bowl of Ahmadu Bello stadium.
