...as injured Man Utd star poses for picture with DJ Khaled

Marcus Rashford has flown to Miami to watch Super Bowl LIV between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

And the Manchester United striker posted a photo with DJ Khaled having watched the star at the Super Bowl music festival.

As well as Khaled, Rashford took in shows from Meek Mill, DaBaby and Megan thee Stallion at the festival on Thursday night.

Guns N’ Roses and Snoop Dogg are the big names topping the bill today but it remains to be seen whether Rashford will attend again.

The Red Devils frontman is currently recovering from a double stress fracture to his back and was invited to attend the flagship sporting event as part of his rehab, according to the Telegraph.

Rashford, 22, picked up the injury in United’s FA Cup replay win over Wolves at Old Trafford on January 15.

The England striker was looking at two months out but he remains confident of returning before the end of the season and in time for England’s Euro 2020 campaign.

He said: “I’ll be back before the season ends to hopefully help my team claim top four.”

Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate attended the last two Super Bowls including Minnesota in 2018 when he attended a coaching convention that saw ideas exchanged between different sports.

Rashford’s international boss also adopted an NFL style media day ahead of the 2018 World Cup where reporters were invited to speak to his players simultaneously.

And having seen the New England Patriots overcome the LA Rams in Atlanta last year, Southgate said: “It’s great to come to big occasions and see people performing under pressure.”

The Super Bowl kicks-off at 11:30pm UK time Sunday night at the Hard Rock stadium – home of the Miami Dolphins.
