Richarlison admits considering Everton future

Richarlison has admitted he is considering his Everton future and has told the club’s board of his intentions this summer.

The Brazilian ended the campaign with ten goals and five assists in 30 Premier League appearances as the Toffees just about staved off the threat of relegation.

90min revealed in March that Richarlison is looking to leave Goodison Park to bolster his chances of making Brazil’s World Cup squad later this year, while the same source added that Everton may have to sell him or striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to ease their financial difficulties.

Richarlison is on international duty for the Selecao’s friendlies against South Korea and Japan in early June and revealed he has made his stance clear to Everton when asked about his future.

He said: “I’ve already made it clear to the board. I’ve already talked to (manager Frank) Lampard too, with my agents and they know what I want. Let’s wait for June.

“Now I can’t talk, because when we talk about leaving a club I’m kind of like this, because of the history I have at Everton, the affection that the fans have for me. When we talk about leaving I’m a little speechless.”

Richarlison is under contract until 2024 but his representatives are looking for a way out, with a number of teams around Europe known to admire the 25-year-old.

He dismissed interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain back in January, while long-term admirers Arsenal are on the hunt for another forward this summer.
