Rodgers: Pity if Liverpool can’t celebrate title with fans

Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, has said  Liverpool deserve the Premier League title.

Liverpool are waiting for the season to resume 25 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.

Rodgers said, “Liverpool definitely deserves the title this season.

“This team was the most stable, the best in the championship, showing top-class football. It will be very unfortunate if Liverpool is not given gold.

“Merseysiders deserve it. It will also be a pity if the team cannot share the joy of victory with the fans due to a pandemic if it becomes a champion.”
