Rohr ranked 19th best coach in the World by German firm
Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has been ranked 19th best coach in the world by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) based in Germany.
However in Africa, the 65-year-old who led Nigeria to a third-place finish at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in June placed is fourth in Africa behind Aliou Cisse, Nicolas Dupuis of Madagascar and Algeria, Djamel Belmadi.,
Coming first was Fernando Santos, coach of Portugal national team, with whom he won the UEFA Nations League in June 2019.
Football experts and journalists from 90 countries chose Santos who garnered 112 points to place first.
Rohr shared the position along with Jan Olof Andersson (Sweden), Paulo Bento (South Korea), Age Hareide (Denmark), Marcello Lippi (China), Oleksandr Petrakov (Ukraine U20) and Marc Wilmots (Iran).

Belmadi got into the top five (5th, 61 points), Dupuis 10th with 11 points and Cisse ranked 18th with two points.
