The second group D match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Iceland would be explosive as Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has vowed to attack Iceland from the start of the game to the end in the ongoing Russia 2018 World Cup holding today at Volgograd.

Speaking in an exclusive chat with SportingLife.ng after Thursday’s evening training session of the team held at the Volgograd Stadium main pitch that would host Friday’s match between the Eagles and Iceland the Franco-German football tactician promised to adopt an offensive formation.

“We will have more offensive and dynamic team when we play against Iceland tomorrow (today)” Rohr disclosed exclusively to SportingLife yesterday.

He also used the opportunity to clear the air on purported injury to one of his dependable defenders William Troost Ekong.

“What I can tel you is that we have just finished training now and everybody including Troost Ekong trained well. There is no injury at all. Ekong is fit to play against Iceland tomorrow”, Rohr disclosed.
