Rohr to get tips on Croatia from Senegal coach

Nigeria missed out on the opportunity of sending somebody to watch the friendly match between Croatia and Senegal Friday at the Stadion Gradski in Croatia.

The Eagles are billed to face Croatia on June 16 in their opening group fixture at the World Cup.
One of the team’s assistant coaches who was supposed to make the journey to Croatia couldn’t embark on the trip any longer.

In the absence of a ‘spy’ being physically present in Croatia, Rohr has made a backup plan long time ago to get the needed tips about Croatia who paraded a strong squad against Senegal.

The Franco German coach had told SportingLife.ng in an earlier interview in Lagos that he has gone into an agreement with the coach of the Teranga Lions of Senegal, Aliou Cisse to share vital tips about both teams’ group opponents at the World Cup.

Senegal will face Poland at the World Cup and the European country has already played Nigeria in an international friendly last March in Poland.

Rohr revealed that he will give a detailed report about Poland to Cisse while expecting that the Senegalese coach will reciprocate the kind gesture after Fridy’s game between the Teranga Lions and Croatia.
