Rohr works on Ighalo’s scoring skills ahead Libya clash

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr appears to have placed special emphasis on his strikers as he targets victory ahead of Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.

After the conclusion of today’s session watched by fans and the media, Rohr singled out China based Odion Ighalo and worked on his scoring abilities, as he continues his search for another three points at the expense of the North Africans who currently top Group E after two round of matches.

There are indications that Rohr is disturbed with Igahlo’s scoring record with the national team which must have accounted for why he placed him on the programme while the other players trained together.

The forward has scored five times with the Eagles unlike with Chinese club, Chanchung Yatai scoring 20 goals from 25 games this season.  It would be recalled that Rohr came under fire among some football faithfuls for inviting Ighalo for the Libya game
