Roma star Smalling robbed at family home in Italy

Roma defender Chris Smalling was robbed in front of his wife and young child by armed thugs, according to reports in Italy.

Three men broke into Smalling’s home on Friday morning and forced him to open his safe, with jewellery and other valuable items taken.

The horrifying ordeal occurred as the Englishman’s wife, Sam, and two-year-old son watched on, according to La Gazetta dello Sport .
