Roma striker Lukaku bags four for Belgium

Roma striker Romelu Lukaku is certainly bringing his club form to international level, scoring all four of Belgium’s goals against Azerbaijan in the first half of their EURO 2024 qualifier.

The centre-forward ran riot in Brussels this evening and found the net four times in a 20-minute period from the 17th through to the 37th.

Having done his job and converted all four attempts on goal, giving Belgium a 4-0 half-time lead, Lukaku was substituted at the break by Lois Openda.

He is now the top scorer in the EURO 2024 qualifying campaign with 14 goals.

It is a reflection of his form with Roma, where Lukaku scored nine in just 14 appearances between Serie A and the Europa League.
