Ronaldo blocks Transfermarkt on social media for valuing him same as Lukaku

CRISTIANO RONALDO has blocked Transfermarkt on social media after they valued him the same as Manchester United flop Romelu Lukaku.

The hilarious revelation came out on Twitter after Ronaldo’s valuation dropped to just £67.5million.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Transfermarkt

The Portuguese superstar had been rated at a whopping £90m when he swapped Real Madrid for Juventus less than two years ago.

But after seeing his goal-scoring rate slow down since moving to Italy, Ronaldo’s valuation has also plummeted.

Indeed, teammate Paulo Dybala is valued at a higher price than the Red Devils legend at £76.5m.

Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen is reckoned to be the most valuable player in Italy at £81m after a £17m January move from Spurs.

To rub salt in the wound, Ronaldo is rated the same as Inter striker Lukaku, who flopped at Old Trafford a decade after Ronnie became the world’s best player there.

And Transfermarkt have now revealed Ronaldo has blocked them on Twitter after making it clear he was not happy with his valuation.

However, he should take some solace that despite being 35 years old, he is being ranked at the same level as a 26-year-old entering his prime.

Ronaldo already has 25 goals in 31 games this season.

And should he ever reach his levels at Madrid, where he once scored 61 goals in a single campaign, Ronaldo can be sure to see his valuation rocket back up to the top of the charts.
