Ronaldo missing as Messi, Neymar, Sterling make 2019-20 UCL squad
Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was missing in the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League squad for the season while the likes of Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Raheem Sterling, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were listed.
The 23-man squad was picked by UEFA’s Technical Observers and was released in their official website on Friday, August 28.

Ronaldo could not help Juve get past French side Lyon in the round of 16 on away goals rules despite netting a barce in their 2-1 home win, missed out after losing the first-leg 1-0.
On the other hand, Messi and his Barcelona teammates were humiliated 8-2 by Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Other players that made the squad includes Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies, Virgil van Dijk, Jan Oblak and David Alaba.
Also included in the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League squad are Joshua Kimmich, Thomas Muller, Thiago Alcantara, Kevin de Bruyne and Marquinhos.
Bayern Munich emerged winners of this season’s UEFA Champions League after seeing off Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final.
