Ronaldo recognised by Saudi Pro League after latest hat-trick

Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named Saudi Pro League’s Player of the Month for March after his latest hat-trick heroics.

The 39-year-old Portuguese legend scored four goals in three matches in March which include a hat-trick in the club’s recent 5-1 win over Al-Tai. For his extraordinary performance, he has been named the Saudi Pro League’s Player of the Month.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star has enjoyed a rich vein of form in the current season as he is leading the Golden Boot race having scored 26 goals in 23 matches. Overall he has netted 33 times in 34 appearances across all competitions and provided 11 assists.

The treble against Al-Tai was the 34th hat-trick of his career since he celebrated his 30th birthday which is 28 more than what his arch-rivals Lionel Messi achieved since hitting the milestone age.

The Portugal skipper will be next seen in action for Al-Nassr on Tuesday as they take on Abha in a Saudi Pro League clash.
