Sacchi warns AC Milan to be more aggressive, determined

Former AC Milan coach, Arrigo Sacchi, has warned the Italian club to be more aggressive and determined.

Sacchi was considering their draw with Udinese in midweek.

He said, “They struggled against Udinese after a convincing win in Rome.

“They seemed to have put the little crisis behind, but it’s not quite like that. They are not struggling physically but mentally.

“The success to which they were not accustomed and the demand for victories can produce stress

“On Wednesday, they showed no determination, pace, aggressivity and rhythm.

“As a consequence, the team was not organised.

“Many players kept the ball too long, so the links and passes were affected. Others tried to dribble when it would have been better to pass, and so on.

“There was little movement without a ball. Attackers were too far from each other and facilitated the job of Udinese’s defenders.

“[Ante] Rebic was the shadow of the striker witnessed against Roma, Rafael Leao did little movement.”
