Sacked Arsenal boss on Fiorentina shortlist

Sacked Arsenal boss, Unai Emery, could be offered a return to football in Italy.

Emery was offered the job at Everton before Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment but felt it came too soon – just days after being axed by the Gunners earlier this season.

However, Corriere dello Sport says Emery is under consideration at Fiorentina.

While satisfied with the work of Beppe Iachini, La Viola owner Rocco Commisso will consider all options at the end of this season.

And top of his shortlist of potential replacements for Iachini is Emery – who has stated he’d prefer to sit out this season before returning to management over the summer.
