Sanusi out for eight months after surgery in Portugal

Zaidu Sanusi is expected to be sidelined for around eight months after undergoing a successful surgery on his knee at a hospital in Sao Francisco, Porto on Monday.

According to Portuguese website, A Bola, the surgrey was supervised by Professor Jose Carlos Noronha.

Sanusi, it would be recalled sustained the injury in FC Porto’s league clash against Estrela da Amadora two weeks ago.

The Nigerian internatinal will return to action at the start of next campaign.

Sanusi has made just five league appearances for Porto this term.
