Chelsea are set to allow Maurizio Sarri to leave the club and be the new Juventus manager, with the Italian set to agree a three-year deal with the Italian champions.

According to The Guardian, Chelsea have made peace with the fact that they are set to lose Maurizio Sarri to Juventus. The Europa League winners are now set to allow Sarri to leave for Juventus, with whom the Italian will sign a three-year deal to be their new manager.

With Chelsea giving the all-clear, Sarri is likely to be Massimiliano Allegri’s replacement at Juventus. Interestingly, the former Juventus manager has been linked with an interest in the Chelsea job, with reports stating that the Italian is set to take English lessons with an eye to a job in the Premier League.

Maurizio Sarri’s arrival was met with stark enthusiasm, mainly due to his gung-ho tactical style that yielded success on the pitch for Napoli. The season though, has been a topsy-turvy one, what with the forwards misfiring and the players not being able to completely adapt to Sarri-ball.
