School Sports Festival kicks-off in 8 centers in Abuja

Secondary School Sports Festival has been scheduled to hold in different eight centers from Thursday 22nd February to 2nd March, 2024.

The preliminary phase of fiesta will commence at the eight zones; Abaji, Kwali, Tungan-maje, Gwagwalada, Kuje Tudun Wada, Karshi and Dutse.

Furthermore, there will be a Break from 4th – 9th of March, 2024.

The Finale, which will feature the Zonal Champions of the various sporting events, has been slated to hold from (Monday) March 11th – 14th (Thursday).

The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bankure is scheduled to flag off the finalé, while the Senior Minister, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will grace the closing ceremony.

To this effect, the organizing committee has written to the Federal Ministry of Sports Development, seeking their approval for the use of the Main Bowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, and its adjoining facilities.
