Serie A: Bologna coach Motta urges Mourinho to stay with Roma

Bologna coach Thiago Motta has said he doesn’t covet the AS Roma job.

Motta wants to see Jose Mourinho remain in charge of Roma “for a long time”.

He said, “I have great respect for Mourinho, Roma have a great coach and I hope he continues with him for a long time, he’s doing well in Rome.

“I’m thinking about the present in Bologna, about doing my best to have the image shown up to now and fighting with everyone.”

Motta was speaking at the CONI headquarters in Rome where he received the Andrea Fortunato award.
