Serie A: Yıldız will get more playing time, says Allegri

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has claimed Kenan Yıldız will get more playing time after Moise Kean’s injury, but Arsenal and Liverpool continue monitoring the 18-year-old striker.

Yıldız is one of the most exciting prospects of Juventus’ Youth Sector, but the Turkey international has had limited chances to show his worth this season.

However, Allegri said on Friday that the 18-year-old will ‘surely’ be seen on the pitch more frequently following an injury to Moise Kean, which will keep the Italy international on the treatment table for over a month.

The latest reports claim Yildiz is frustrated by his lack of playing time in Turin, while Juventus could listen to offers for their promising striker in January to boost their budget for a new midfielder. Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in the 18-year-old valued at €40m by the Old Lady.

Samuel Iling-Juior and Matias Soulé have also attracted interest from the Premier League and could be sold in the winter transfer window to raise funds for a new big-money winter signing at the Allianz Stadium.

Yildiz is part of the Juventus squad that will face Genoa on Friday evening, but the Turkish starlet is expected to start on the bench.

Yildiz scored his first international goal with Turkey in November, and his national team coach, Vincenzo Montella, has claimed that the Juventus starlet can ‘grow’ and learn even if he stays in Turin without playing much this term.
