Shakhtar Donetsk have reportedly signed Manchester City striker Olarenwaju Kayode on a five-year deal.
The Nigeria international joined the Ukranian champions on loan from Manchester City in March this year.
The 25-year-old Kayode has made eight appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring three goals.
”Kayode will continue to play at Shakhtar. We’ve bought his transfer from Manchester City and signed a five-year deal.
”He really proved himself, Paulo is pleased with them,” FC Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin stated on the club’s website.
The former Nigeria international who was not invited by Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr for the team’s World Cup preparations has played for Maccabi Netanya, FC Luzern, Austria Vienna and Girona.
