Shearer wants PSG star Mbappe to make Premier League switch

Former Newcastle United striker, Alan Shearer, hopes to see Kylian Mbappe in the Premier League one day.

The French World Cup winner currently stars for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. He has been linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool in the past.

Mbappe is only 21 and already has seven major trophies to his name.

Asked which French striker he would like to see in England, Shearer told Canal+: “I would very much like Kylian Mbappe to come.

“With his skill, the confidence he has in someone so young, and all the goals he scores, that would be a big plus for the Premier League.”

When asked where Mbappe should go in England, Shearer joked: “I only see one club for him, it’s Newcastle of course.”
