Solanke pays tribute to Liverpool fans after sealing Bournemouth deal

DOMINIC SOLANKE has sent a message to Liverpool fans after his £19m switch to Bournemouth.

The striker’s big-money move to the Cherries was confirmed on Friday afternoon after weeks of speculation regarding the player’s next destination.

Solanke arrived at Liverpool in 2017 but has failed to hold down a place in the first-team, subsequently scoring one Premier League goal for Eddie Howe’s men.

But the former Chelsea man had some kind words for his former employers after his move was confirmed.

“Just wanted to say a big thank you to @LFC for the past couple of seasons,” he tweeted.

“All the staff, fans and players welcomed me with open arms and I am thankful” “I’ve learnt a lot that will benefit me in the near future!

And in a separate post, Solanke sent a message to his new fans on the south coast.

“Delighted to put pen to paper with @afcbournemouth,” he wrote.
