Southampton join race for Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour

Southampton have joined the race for Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour.

The Scotland international is expected to be loaned out next season to gain first-team experience.

Norwich and Wolves are both interested in the 20-year-old, who made 11 appearances for Chelsea last term.

And the Daily Mailsays Southampton are also keen on signing the former Rangers man.

Gilmour was recently named man-of-the-match in Scotland’s goalless draw with England at Euro 2020.
