St Etienne smiling to the bank after money raked from Fofana double sale
St Etienne are delighted with the money they’ve raked in from former homespun defender Wesley Fofana.
In two years, Fofana has earned ASSE a massive €45m from two sales.
The defender first left for Leicester City in 2020 for a fee of €35m.

And just last summer, the Foxes sold Fofana to Chelsea for €83m, with Le Progres reporting ASSE will be due €8-10m as part of a percentage of resale agreed in his original transfer.
It was revealed his week that in 2019 ASSE almost sold Fofana to RB Salzburg for €5m.
