Suárez to receive medical green light in 10 days

Luis Suárez will be declared fit enough to participate in matches in 10 days’ time, with the player having already started to train again with the group.

Suárez is fit enough to participate in training the way his teammates are taking part, but his recovery from knee surgery is not formally finalized yet. However, all signs are very positive that he has almost fully healed.

FC Barcelona are back on the training pitch and so is the Uruguayan, who has made an unexpectedly fast recovery after undergoing a knee operation in January. Originally, he was thought to be gone for the rest of the season. However, thanks to a combination of his extremely fast healing, and the fact that the season has been extended due to the coronavirus crisis, the striker will be able to take part in games starting in 10 days.

A date has not yet been set for Barcelona’s next match, against Mallorca, yet.
