Sunday Showdown with S T&P: Sports Minister Enoh storms Uyo for Eagles

Minister of Sports Development Senator John Enoh has landed in Uyo ahead of Super Eagles AFCON Qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe.

On hand to receive the minister were the NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau Akwa Ibom State and Sports Commissioner Monday Uko.

The Eagles who have already qualified will be hoping to round off on a victory note. It will be the first competitive match involving the Super Eagles the new minister will be watching following his appointment alongside other ministers.

Sports stakeholders say it will be now of never for all round sports development in the country with the separation of sports development from Youth ministry.

Ahead of tomorrow’s match coach Jose Peseiro who recently accepted pay cut to continue his job as Super Eagles boss, is having the full compliments of the invited players.
