Super Eagles defender describes Torino’s Serie A season ‘rough’
Former Chelsea defender, Ola Aina, has described Italian Serie A campaign as ‘rough and tough but his club, Torino were able to pull through the challenges.
The Nigerian star was on parade for Torino as they ended their 2019-2020 Italian campaign with a 1 – 1 against Bologna on Sunday.
“Finito, Rough season, but we pulled through”, he posted on Twitter.

The former Chelsea academy graduate was introduced in the second half of the match at the Renato Dall’ Ara by Coach Longo Moreno.
21-year-old Mattias Svanberg gave the home side the lead, but Italian forward Simone Zaza restored the parity for Torino six minutes after an hour mark.

The game ended in a draw and Torino finished the campaign 16th with 40 points from 38 matches.
Aina made 32 league appearances of the season for Torino who only picked five-point away from home this season.
