Super Eagles Goalie Nwabali N20m richer gets Rivers State honour
Super Eagles impressive goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is N20million richer courtesy of the River State Government. Nwabali who was a delight to watch despite Super Eagles to clinch the trophy at the just ended 34th AFCON in Ivory Coast, was given the largesse by River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Nwabali who has already bagged National award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) from the Federal Government was further handed state honour of Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State.
The backroom staff of the Super Eagles were also not left out of the largesse as they were rewarded with N30m.
Nwabali featured in all of Nigeria’s seven games in Cote d’Ivoire.

The shot -stopper was named Man of the Match in Super Eagles’ semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Nwabali has been linked with a move away from South African club, Chippa United following his impressive displays at the AFCON 2023 finals.
